As I've experienced with VFP+Dot_Matrix_Printers is there is no way to speed up. Someone can say you to use a Draft font plus Generic Printer, but u can get some new problems with that.

At last months I've choice to use and in some cases to modify the DosPrint Class by Victor Espina, it has a lot of new features like these:

+ Direct Printing to the Windows Printer (faster, at old fashioned style MS-DOS/FPD)
+ Support for Templetes or Formats (now you can create templates & printing with no more than 10 sentences -- or lines of code--)
+ Templetes with support for Header, Footers, Groups, GroupsHeader, GroupFooters, Sumatory on groups, and more
+ Works fine with LAN Printers.
+ Are you looking for multidetails reports?, U can do it with DosPrint3 with no tricks.
+ And the best!, source code & support/help (from author or maybe me)
