I did perform your sample sqlexec, and it worked, bringing the rigth cursor column names, but I still don't understand what is going on. OTOH this program I'm talking about is a small SPT based utility I use to connect to, see databases' tables, their attributes, browse records, make queries etc, and it works with other DBMS, but not with SQL server (this is the first time I try with it).
