Jim, I've had better luck using 'alias' - 2 instead of 'fields' - 6. However, I've seen the same problem with duplicate items and missing items in small tables. In one case it resolved itself (?) and in another it only showed under VFP not in the EXE so I'm waiting for a user complaint. :-)
