Hi,

I have a prob with values in a big table. There are fields containing '****' as value (numeric overflow).

This table is processed in a prg. When passing a field with a numeric overflow the prog generates an error.

My question is :
when getting a 'numeric overflow' error how can i fill out the maxium (or min in case of a negative overflow) possible value for that field without getting an error message ?
