Your hardware vendor will have to help; it's a matter of what drivers they provide, or that they have you buy to work with their hardware. If you bought the equipment without drivers, I'd suggest thinking about replacing the hardware with something that provides drivers or buying a third-party software package that supports the hardware that you bought.

I've used a number of third-party USB-serial conversion products, and they've all come with their own drivers as a part of the kit.
