Seriously, though. DCOM uses RPC underneath and wraps the proxy and stub for you, which gives a
relatively easy interface to building remote servers.

But as far as building RPC server/clients with VFP natively - no chance. The protocol APIs
for RPC are very low level and require structures. I've been building some tools with
Named Pipes, but even that required writing a middle layer DLL...
