>I've opened an existing report in report designer, however the viewable portion is only up to 2.7917 inches. There is other material passed this boundary that I cannot get to. I tried to do page setup and increase the width, but that too will not let me move passed 2.7917. What am I doing wrong?

Go to PrintSetup and change Paper Size.
