I did all you said ... and I get same results.

1.- When I "use" the vcx file and go through the memo field for those properties, each property is fine (i.e: there are no foreign characters).

2.- If I use the class browser when I look at the property window and look at the properties they display a value whereas the table's memo doesn't ?

And I tought it would be easy ...

So I recopied the original VFE5 cenviron.vcx & vct files and I tried the reverse (i.e: look with the class browser then look at the memo field of the table itself)

Same results

Do you still have ideas ?
