How about putting upper here; instead of
>cMemos1=iif(empty(allt(cMemos1)),'',allt(cMemos1))
cMemos1=upper(allt(cMemos1))
etc, because in your select you look for cMemos1 $ UPPER(notes) - so, unless you're running under any Set Collate but Machine, your query will be case-sensitive.
