>ISX LE puts VFP runtimes into C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VFP directory and registers vfp7r.dll. W/o registering Windows wouldn't be able to find it there.

Strange, I put files to system32 for NT/2000 or system otherwise , which are obviously in path, but registering seems to be required.
