Put a file in the CD's root directory called autorun.inf

In the file, put the following:

[autorun]
OPEN=yoursubdir/yourexe.exe

We have had some trouble with WIN98, where the auto play didn't work, when the exe file was in the CD's root directory, so we've always put the exe to start in a subdirectory.
