The way I understand it, encapsulation simply means that objects are tightly coupled to their properties / methods.
In the old times, with functions, you could pass any "object" (variable or array that represented something in your system) to a UDF.
With a syntax ThisForm.DoSomeMethod(), DoSomeMethod() can only refer to ThisForm.
