>>Hi all,
>>I am about to commit to a framework and have narrowed down the choices to Codemine and Mere Mortals. The sample app from Codemine is great, while the sample app from MM left me wondering what all the fuss is about. But there must be a reason so many of you here use MM.

>>I will be building an app for inventory control, shipping/receiving, work orders for pickup/delivery, claims, client/subclient management, and some simple A/R funtions that can send totals via .csv files to our accounting program. Currently it would be client/server, but I do have an unused SQL server 7 running that I would like to upsize the app onto. Especially if we open some branches nationwide in the next year.
>>
>>So what are the differences based on your real world experiences (I've been reading the wiki framework chart till my eyes glazed over--thanks Mike and all the other contributors). I plan on making the purchase today and would appreciate your feedback.

>What Chris told you is true don't base your decision only on a demo. But then again don't base your decision only because there seems to be more users of MM on the UT.

>As a CodeMine developer I can tell you that you'll be able to be productive with it very fast. Without training of any kind. I can't say if it's the same with MM. Oops looks like I'm taking a side here ;-D What can I do I'm only human.

I wanted people to take sides, let me know what kind of apps they build, why the framework they chose works for them. Thanks for the feedback.
