Did you set Sparse property of the column with editbox to .T.?

>i have embedded an edit box in a grid. the edit box allows the user to change a memo field. however when the user enters something such as

>and then tabs out, the edit box displays "the quick0brown fox00jumped over". it is is actually not the '0' character but a square one. what gives?
