OK, I'm far from a Access Guru, I'm and ORacle and SQL Server DBA...

This being said, I have this problem:

I have a .mdb file that does not want to open. Access complains about the right to open the file. My first reaction was to look at the OS permission level, but I'm part of the admin group...

Then I saw a file with the extension .mdw. now I'm dealing with Access security.

I've looked in the help file and it refers to the workgroup administrator. It does not seems to be installed on my machine. I's it part of a separate installation ?
