Can somebody pls tell me how to write in VBSCRIPT to call a program from a HTML page.

Suppose I have made a HTML page and I want to put a link on that, when user clicks that, it should run, say notepad.

I have tested this command

Shell "Notepad", but it gives me error.

Any suggestions/advise will be very helpful
