Peter,

I'm not so sure they (MS) ignore them, but they certainly make it look like they do. Which is as good as actually ignoring them! Maybe that is their real objective, or possibly even where they have got to by now. No one outside of MS knows and we must rely on faith alone. Faith is the domain of religion, not computers.

MikeY and GeorgeT have a good idea, aside from George's bit about having a separate category. We would be far far better off leaving them to be in their relevant categories BUT ensure that a few specific keywords are ALWAYS USED so that searches would always find them.
You may have seen the 'compendium' of reported bugs that I posted earlier today. I know for sure that there are several not in there, simply because "VFP7" was not used within the thread along with "bug" or some word other than "bug" was used (like "error" or "anomaly" "'feature'" or "unexpected" or...).

Relying strictly on UT submissions is certainly not the ideal, but it would be way way better than what exists today. Maybe even those who have submitted reports through the official route in the last 8 months (since VFP7 came out) would be good enough to re-submit them here.

In the end, though, it really is a MS (VFP Team) responsibility to make us promptly aware of bugs AND to let submitters know if their bug submissions were reproduced (thus 'accepted') or not. This is really such a simple thing and one has to wonder at the motives behind refusal to do so.

Jim

One thing is undeniable - reporting bugs HERE gives them much more exposure than reporting them to MS
