If MS drops support for older versions of VFP those developers that remain with the older version can/will have the UT as their support.
Those the continue up MS's upgrade path can/will use UT for support because it is quicker, from folks with practical experience, and won't access the credit card as often nor for as much.
TANSTAAFL, but as lunches go, UT is the best VFP deli on the planet.

Anyone who has ever waited on hold for minutes to hours, only to be told to reboot, reinstall, or download a patch that breaks a dozen other things,
KNOWS the advantage of leaving a question on the UT and coming back minutes to hours later to find several possible, and affordable, solutions.
