Thanks Plamen - I think I have found the problem - but not sure how to fix it - if I pass...

intRox = grdOtherAdd.MouseRow + 1

It works but the trouble is both the row with my field name headings in and the first row seem to be row 1...

I have 2 rows - 1 fixed row and no columnheaders set in the grid properties...
