In what way hasn't the toolbar refreshed? Apart from activating page one of the pageframe by double clicking the grid, what have you changed that would warrant changes in the toolbar?

Just a thought, make sure that the grid's lrefreshform property is set .T. if you are using the grid in a navigational way.
