Hi All

I am using a large PC with win98 as a server and have upto 30 other machines each running win98, accessing the server. The application they are running is written in visual fox 5. The problem I have is that when the (so called) server reaches a open file limit of 1000 files the system starts to crash. Is this a fixed limit? is there a way to increase it?. I know the obvious solution is to upgrade to win 2000 but politics at the moment prohibit this.
