an error message comes from microsoft ODBC for oracle if i use it in win98 OS while connecting to Oracle 8i. this problem was solved by giving
"Provider=MSDAORA" in the connection string. but my present problem is i am unable to use this technique for crystal reports. i need to open a database connection which will run in all the windows OS(win95,win98,winNT,Win2000) for Oracle 8i and Sql server.
