>>Has anyone looked at the article in this month's advisor entitled 'Data Classes that make Client-Server Easier. I'd really like to hear others opinions of the concepts presented there by Andy Kramek. Also, the souce code has been placed on Compuserve. Would someone be kind enough to send me a copy. I used to be on CS but am no longer a member. The code is in the VFP forum (naturally).

Hi, Roxanne,
I believe that the ideas will be extremely useful. Details such as the type of the data source("Oracle", "VFP", etc.) and how to update a VFP table, was that TABLEUPDATE(1,.F., "MyTable") or TABLEUPDATE(2,.F., "MyTable")? IMHO have no place in a form. Removing them should allow us to get on with the business at hand, solving the client's business problem.
After stepping down off my soapbox, I have a question:
I recently purchased the Advisor '97 CD, and went looking for the Abstract Data Classes source code. I found the source code for the demo, but only the fxp of the data class definition file. Does the CS posting include that source code? If it does I would appreciate it if you would send it to me
Thanks
Ned

Reality is.
