>ODBC doesn't provide any database manipulation tools . you have to rely on your database engine documentation for that .there is SQL-DMO given by MS-SQL server to create functionalities through VB code to manipulate the database. take a look at your db2 documentation to see if they have provided an object to include to your VB application to manipulate the database.
