You can use my DriveInformation class to retrieve the net connection using the drive letter. Replacing the "o:" string with the net connection string, you must have the same string.

This returns the mapped drive path(o:\files\file1.dbf) The trouble is that I am trying to compare it with a fully qualified name(\\server\files\file1.dbf). does anyone know of any functions that return the fully qualified path rather then the mapped drive path?
