Tracy - thanks for the response. I hate to sound completely clueless but I'm not sure what you mean by what APP. I have a project called PEB in c:\apps\peb and it contains folders \data, \forms, \reports and so on. The EXE runs fine - but when I run the source the error occurs (sometimes). Also, it is not alwas the same folder when I do the CD. Sometimes it has "majicall" changed to the c:\ folder, etc. Hmmmmmmm?????

>What app are your .prg files and .fxp files associated with on those pcs? I ask because typically the \windows\options\cabs directory is where your os compressed files are located when the OS was installed by the manufacturer under Win95/98.

>>Strange happenings at one of my user's PC's this week. While modifing code and forms, and while running source code (do main.prg from the command window), the PC is changing folders, seemingly with no pattern. When this happens, the program will "blow off". Example - from the c:\apps\myapp folder I 'do main'. The program runs fine and then suddenly will produce an erro such as 'file does not exist'. From the command window I type CD and somehow I am in a folder c:\windows\options\cabs. I do no CD commands from the app. The program has run fine for months. When i execute the EXE there does not seem to be a problem. Has anyone experienced this strange behavior?????? Thanks you....
