Depends. If the workaround is obvious and not damaging or particularly difficult (eg if message x comes up, do not answer Yes, answer No and try again) then we issue a "known issue" bulletin and a schedule for delivery, generally next quarterly release. If the bug prevents use completely, we fix it stat.
I agree that all software has bugs, including VFP. If the workaround isn't too onerous of course I do that.
FWIW, I regard datetime settings defaulting to "American" as a bug and always have. What other software is there that defaults to anything but the system settings? But the workaround is easy so I live with it.
