Now, I ain't a defendin M$----but, It'd be a license to use something that ain't quite tangible that youre a spendin money on. I mean it's all just ether on that disk. Cars and what not are products, an' although we might talk of tools and such when we speak of software, it's closer to music, theater and the like. You can't really do what you like with them either. And a lot of tangible products will get you into hot water if you use them as an image of the manufacturer that the manufacturer feels diparages their good robber-baronesque mystique that they pay good money to PR firms to create.
Opportunity is missed by most people beacuse it is dressed in overalls, and looks like work --- Thomas Edison
