It should work. Even if you changed the settings in the BIOS back and forth, I still think it's a BIOS setting. What type of BIOS do you have?

>I am trying to install a third COM port using a non-Plug and Play ISA card onto a Windows 95 machine. I do not have a modem. I set up the card for COM 3 IRQ 5, but Windows 95 will only let me choose IRQ 3 or 4. IRQ 5 is not being used by the system. I have changed the PCI/Plug and Play settings in the BIOS back and forth from Plug and Play to ISA without any success. Does anyone know of a way to get Windows 95 to let me use IRQ 5? Any help is greatly appreciated.
