Download #10009 can help you automate some aspects of the backup, but you still need to obtain the WinZip syntax - check the manuals.

I also suggest to use a tool other than WinZip - it is simply not adequate. Mainly, it doesn't handle split archives very well: it seems it can only recognize them on the floppy disks, not on the hard disk. PowerArchiver is a much better choice here. PowerArchiver is free until version 6 - if you can still get it. I currently use the command-line utility for PowerArchiver (separate download - still free, I believe) - and compress to CAB. This uses much less space than ZIP.
