Sure, that was a large basis for my position on the matter. But, realistically, they have far more definitive knowledge of COM than I ever will, so there was a good chance that they had good reasoning behind their position that could slap me in the face.

These folks are not MS, Craig, but overall they DO know their business and it IS largely software driven.

And I guess there are things, even within the MS world, that do not play nice with VFP. (I'll say 3 hail-Marys right now for that).
