I'm working on a catalog ordering system for a fullfilment company. This company will service catalog orders for two (for now) home-shopping clubs. Each club uses it's own encryption on it's internal members table.

I have written a 'customer lookup' class that needs physically to run at each club's office so it can use the correct encryption algorithms.

When the user enters a name, I want to instantiate my lookup class at each club and search both members files. When more than one match is found, the user will select the right person and the catalog order will be processed for that person's club.

I'm actually on the same network as one of the clubs, so I can run my class here easily... problem is, if I run it here, it uses this encryption. Fine for here, but how do I run it at the other club (DCOM?) so it loads their encryption?

I've looked at so much documentation that my head is spinning! Can anyone point me to a step by step tutorial or offer any advise at all?

I think MTS may be required but I've never set that up. Both clubs are running NT4 and W2k servers and there's a T1 between them.
