You might take a look at "TransSoft's FTP Control". In addition to being a FTP client, it also comes with its own scripting language. The scripts will compile into executables, so you could include a script in a VFP distribution and then have the VFP application execute the FTP .exe. The scripting language is powerful, but very simple to use, much more so than program VFP. You can also compile FTP scripts and place shortcuts on your desktop. Just click the shortcut and go get a cup of coffee. The FTP .exe will handle everything for you according to the instuctions you program into the .exe.
