I have a report that has a large number of fields that are in the detail band. All of the fields only print if there is data in them. I have them all set to float in the band, print when the field is not blank and to suppress blank lines. The detail band is about 7" long in the report designer. I am printing on 8.5" x 11" paper. All of this works fine, but only 2 or 3 records print per page and leave more than half of the page blank. In general most of the records only use about 1" of space when they print, so there is room for more records to print on each page.

Is there a setting I am missing to get as many records as possible to print, or is this a bug in the report writer? I am using VFP 7.0 SP1.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
