>>Very wrong if you ask me that Microsoft allowed (encouraged) developers with VFP 6.0 to develop applications using the Web Control and now after many hours of development time invested to integrate the control into an application Microsoft now says I MUST install Internet Explorer to use that control.

The thing is I must have IE 5.5 or greater - Windowless frames and popups. The application is targeted at Windows 95 and greater. I am currently testing the application on two Fdisked computers - one I installed Windows 95 and one I installed Windows 98 with no updates. The VFP 6.0 with the Web Browser control runs fine on both but the VFP 7.0 without the Web Browser control does not work on either.
