In MM 7.0, am I right in seeing that KBizObj.OnNew() has delegated the creation of the primary key to the cursor object, or has it always been like this? The reason that I ask is that I made a change in my BizObj class back in version 6 that changed the way the primary key is generated (I was already using my own SQL proc).

If so, what is the best way to generate a primary key with remote data if you cannot easily change your SQL Server database to use the SQL proc mm_NewID?
