Hi Terry,

The cgi-bin directory is the location where most scripts (business logic) is kept in a web site. The HTML can call VBA, Perl, php, etc scripts to run as part of a web page. It is my understanding that compiled code like C, C++, etc can also be place in the cgi-bin directory and called by a html page. Of course the web server would need to be configured to run the exe. CGI stands for common gateway interface , and from the name of vfpxcgi.exe, I wonder whether this is some compiled vfp code that is part of a web site.
