This problem was discussed today in the Chatter forum, where we have Universal Thread related category. See Re: Looks Great But Header in new interface Too Large Thread #646455 Message #646614 All such messages should go there now.

Try to activate Chatter forum in your Account setup, so you can chat in a free time :)
