Hi everybody,

VFP 6.0 SP4

I'd like to understand the following phenomena:

Yesterday I've checked ?diskspace('a:') and ? directory('a:\temp') on Windows NT machine and both commands didn't throw Windows Error, but returned -1 and .f. respectively.

Today I tried ?diskspace('a:') again and this time I got Windows Error with "Abort Retry Ignore" buttons untrappable by VFP.

Same story happened with Sergey.

Sergey pointed me to KB article to prevent this error, but it would be good to understand, why it works differently from day to day...

Please, don't suggest anything like UFO or gobblins, these versions would not be accepted :) It's not Friday yet (I'm going to test it tomorrow again) < g >

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
