>The problems were solved a long time ago. It's much easier for you to search the message archive than it is for me since I don't have a PUTM.
Well, I just did. I spent half an hour trying to figure out what are those threads you talked about. The reason I am so into that thread is because if there would have been a UT slowdown, I would have been the first one to know.
If you use the term UT slowdown instead of UT downtime, then, that's another issue. Because of a major failure at a downtime Montreal construction site last September, we had a downtime. But, that's not under our control.
If you talk about a thread that I find about someone who use the term slow while at the end it turned out that it was a local cache issue, then, there is no issue here.
When I see things like these, it is my job to make sure the statement is true. Otherwise, this tends to lead members believe that our site is not good as that's totally not the case - at least, not for the point you mentioned here, as for rest, I'd let the members decide what they like or not.
If you, personally, experience some connection difficulties to our site, you're welcome to send an email. We can then issue a troubleshooting case and investigate on the situation with our ISP to yours. Then, we're able to figure out where the problem is. But, again, if the response time would be slow, assuming it'd be a problem on our end, I'd be the first one to know about it.
