Listen to Jim Booth. While there are tools within VFP to migrate 2.6 apps up to VFP, they don't do an adequate job simply because the architecture of an optimal 2.6 app is generally worlds apart from an optimal VFP app. What you want to do is map the data, map the business processes, and rewrite. But, you see, it's not actually a rewrite because 2/3 of the job (the analysis and most likely the data model) is done already.
