>My application is used in several places with many different printers. So I always strip the printer info out of my .FRX files before compiling into an Executable. However, I am still a bit confused by the 'Use printable area' setting in the print setup of each report. This seems to have a definite effect on reports. Generally, I select 'Use Whole Page' and make sure my info does not attempt to print within 1/4 inch of the margins. I would prefer to use 'Use printable area', but is this specific to the printer I'm developing with, and can it cause conflicts with other printers out there?? Does anybody have an opinion on this matter. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi Marcus,
Its been my experience that when developing reports strictly for HP Laserjets, using the "whole page" setting works fine. But when doing reports for Deskjets, Panasonic line printers, and the cool Epson laptop/portable printers I have problems if dont use "printable page" setting.
