Hello group,

If I have a remote server and I want to select data from one of its database tables and I only know the ip address, how do I phrase the SQL statement.


For example an ip address of 198.108.176.162 ( not the real address )
database named testcareercenter
table named studemo


select *
from 198.108.176.162.testcareercenter.studemo

doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong.
