Unfortunately I don't have VFP7 yet, so I don't know, what may cause this problem for you. 30000 are lots of records. Are they filtered? Try to set deleted off.

Did it work fine in VFP6? I use InGrid (with my minor modifications) in my grids without problems, though I don't remember, for how many records. I will test it on Monday on big table, OK?

Also are you sure, the index is not corrupted?
