i assume that you are creating your pay-slips with the help of the vfp report designer.

you could then use a handy utility - frx2wrd.app (available in the downloads section of UT) - to convert this vfp report for each pay-slip to a MS Word format which could then be added as an attachment via OLE to your e-mail software and sent to individual people all without using any mail merging procedures.
