You cannot pull a detail line from two different and unrelated tables. What you can do is build a SELECT statement with UNION clause that pulls the unrelated records into one cursor and base your detail line on that cursor. The rub is that all records in the cursor have the same fields (I couldn't deduce from your post if you wanted the lines to have different fields). If this doesn't work for you, I know that there are other tricks to make a report appear as if it has two different detail lines, but I am not the one to explain them, because I have yet to need a report like this.
