Craig,
Why would that even matter? Is MS' objective to be in line with the LOWEST common denominator?
MS has established a practise over several years of providing fixes to known problems. It wouldn't matter what others do or don't do - MS has set an expectation for ITS products.
Who woulda guessed that getting out of the box and "going our own way" would mean less than minimum?????
I continue to be amazed that anybody would bother to defend a company with $40+ billion in the bank. Weirdly, I guess, I would have thought that people would use that little fact to prove that MS could well afford to spend a tiny miniscule iotic fraction of that money to improve the lot of VFP overall.
To each his own.
