Hi I am writing an app using VB with VFP via ADO. I have a couple of questions...

1. How do I get a new primary for adding a record to a VFP database using ado - I have experimented with select max(field) etc but have found this to be unreliable... I hope to use a keys table but testing this with 2 forms adding 500 records into a table at the same time has been unsuccessful.

2. How do I handle the possiblity of two user editing the same record at the same time? Or 1 user deleting a record but it still showing whilst another user has his form open on that record?

3. Say my data is on a server and my program is running locally - how do I prevent problems if the network connection is lost?
