>>Huh? Where do you see that there are future SPs planned for VB 6, VC++ 6, InterDev, or VJ++?
>
>I don't. But they have been superceded by .NET versions. In the case of VFP we are at VFP7 and VFP8 is in the works, not yet delivered.
>We got at least 3 VFP-relevant SPs with VFP6 while VFP7 was under development. Now you tell us we can have one or the other. We got both before and MS has the bucks to give us both still.
How long after VFP6 did we have to wait for VFP7? What was the severity of those bugs that were fixed? How many customers did they affect? What's the risk with not fixing current bugs now as opposed to later? There's more that goes into the equation instead of just "Jim Nelson has a problem."
