Providing support and providing an SP are two different things. Also, VB .Net is a different animal than VB6. VB6 probably won't run under VB .Net. Your VFP 6 code runs under VFP7 and it's a good bet that VFP7 code will run under VFP8. Even Fox2x code runs under VFP7. What MS is doing with VB is giving people time to migrate existing apps to the new technology.
